v2.1

Important: Review the displayed total, currency, product and any renewal terms before placing an order; transactions may be checked for fraud.

1. Scope and purpose

This Payment Policy explains the payment journey for DateFoundry, the adult dating platform operated by AMORIAX LTD. It applies to purchases of digital tokens, packs of likes, virtual gifts and any separately offered Paid Membership. It describes the display of prices, transaction authentication, authorisation, delivery, failed charges, refunds and card disputes. It should be read with the Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy and Digital Product Fulfilment Policy; each addresses a different stage of the same customer transaction.

Payments buy the specified digital functionality, not a promise of a match, attention or relationship. Before placing an order, users should understand exactly what they will receive and whether the offer is a one-time purchase or a distinct time-based arrangement. A general agreement to account Terms does not itself authorise recurring billing. Consumer protections applicable in the United Kingdom and any other compulsory consumer jurisdiction take precedence over inconsistent payment wording.

2. Nature of transactions

Tokens are limited account-bound digital units that enable particular DateFoundry actions, while Like Packs and Virtual Gifts supply the described interface functionality. They are not cash deposits, electronic money, stored-value balances, investments or transferable assets. No user can withdraw, sell, convert or spend such items outside DateFoundry. A recipient of a digital gift acquires no monetary claim against the sender or operator merely because a visual gift was received.

The purchase screen should state the quantity, available use, known restrictions and any applicable validity limit. A separate Paid Membership, if offered, is a service contract with its own term and any disclosed renewal rules; its billing consent is distinct from the purchase of virtual units. The customer must not infer that purchasing a pack guarantees more views, a response, an upgrade of another person's Account or a romantic outcome.

A Token package, a Like Pack and a Virtual Gift are account-bound digital purchases. None creates a third-party wallet, stored cash balance or a method of transferring money to another member; a recipient of a gift receives a platform interaction only. Each purchase is one-time unless a different membership order expressly states a recurring obligation. Product limits, delivery timing and the distinction from any time-based service must appear before the user authorises payment.

3. Accepted payment methods

Available cards and payment options are identified at checkout before an order is submitted. Acceptance of a particular brand, issuer or wallet can vary with territory, fraud screening and provider availability, so a payment method should be considered available only when presented as a selectable option for that transaction. The operator does not require payment by bank transfer to a member or by cryptocurrency sent to an external wallet as a condition of using purchased in-platform features.

A method may be temporarily disabled where network rules, verification requirements, technical risk or a change of acquiring provider make it unavailable. Such a restriction does not permit capturing payment without supplying the contracted entitlement or an appropriate remedy. Customers should use only the official secure checkout and should never disclose card credentials in messages, profiles or emails to other members.

4. Billing currencies and pricing display

DateFoundry may display several currencies, including USD, GBP, EUR, CAD and AUD, through its interface. The amount and currency shown on the final checkout screen before the order is submitted must identify the actual charge to be authorised, not merely a headline approximation or a currency selector on another page. Where conversion is performed by an issuer rather than DateFoundry, the final amount on a statement can vary according to the issuer's rate and charges. No conversion fee should be attributed to DateFoundry unless disclosed as such.

Review the order summary for unit quantity, purchased item, total price and any recurring obligation. A free account sign-up is not permission to charge a card, and an earlier one-time purchase is not agreement to later debits. If the price changes after selection but before final authorisation, the updated total is presented with a genuine opportunity for the customer to decline.

The currency selector on a public marketing page is not sufficient disclosure of the currency in which a card will be charged. The final order screen must name the actual charge currency, the price and the total inclusive of applicable taxes and unavoidable fees; any optional extra is separately selected. Where conversion is carried out by the card issuer rather than DateFoundry, the issuer may apply its rate or fee, which is not an additional undisclosed merchant charge.

5. Taxes and charges

Before an order is placed, the final purchase total should clearly show taxes or other mandatory charges included in or added to the product price, and identify any legally applicable treatment. We do not add undisclosed service fees after a customer confirms a total. Where a payment provider or card issuer applies a separate currency-conversion or cross-border charge under the customer's financial-services agreement, that charge may be outside the amount collected by DateFoundry.

Where an invoice or receipt must identify VAT or other applicable tax information, the transaction record and downloadable or emailed confirmation should provide what the law requires. If an obvious tax or pricing error occurs, we may suspend acceptance of an uncompleted Order and present the corrected terms; we do not retroactively impose an undisclosed price on a completed lawful purchase.

6. Authorisation and transaction completion

At checkout, the customer submits an Order and confirms the obligation to pay the prominently displayed total. A payment provider may then seek an issuer authorisation, request authentication or reject the instruction. A pending bank hold shows that funds may be reserved; it does not always mean the merchant has captured a completed charge. We regard the payment as complete only when the accepted order and processor confirmation support capture and a corresponding entitlement can be reconciled.

If payment fails before capture, no digital licence should be treated as purchased. If a captured payment is not matched to a usable entitlement, we investigate it under the Digital Product Fulfilment Policy and Refund Policy. The platform should preserve order, payment and delivery identifiers so the customer can identify what happened without exposing complete card credentials.

We distinguish four separate events: card authorisation, payment capture or settlement, merchant order acceptance and the credit of a usable Digital Entitlement. An authorisation hold alone does not confirm completed fulfilment. We use payment and order references to avoid processing duplicate notifications as duplicate purchases and to identify a paid order whose entitlement failed to post.

7. Use of third-party payment providers

Payments are processed through the payment service or acquiring provider identified within the official checkout flow and related payment communications. Such providers may handle payment-card data, payment tokens, authentication and required transaction monitoring. Their own privacy disclosures may apply where they act as independent controllers. DateFoundry receives payment results and the identifiers needed for receipting, entitlement delivery, refunds and scheme inquiries, and does not ask users to transmit full card numbers or security codes to customer support.

Provider substitution must not conceal the actual payee, change a final price without an opportunity to consent or invalidate a statutory remedy. Where card-on-file functionality is offered for a separately identified renewal product, the provider must process charges only within the approved scope. Account cancellation and card-token deletion are not identical actions; the customer should have a clear route to terminate further renewal obligations.

Customers may be asked to complete a processor-hosted verification or 3-D Secure challenge where required by the issuer, network or applicable strong customer authentication rules. The processor’s security controls do not remove DateFoundry’s responsibility to deliver the agreed digital entitlement and respond to a complaint. Support staff will not request a password, card security code or full payment card details through an ordinary email conversation.

8. Security, verification and fraud controls

A payment may trigger an issuer's Strong Customer Authentication process, including 3-D Secure or an equivalent approved verification flow. These checks help establish that the authorised payer is present; they do not transfer all fraud risk or statutory responsibility to the consumer. We may additionally use device, account and order consistency checks to identify impossible transaction patterns, repeated card failures or exploitation of virtual credits. The checks must be proportionate and use personal data lawfully.

If a transaction is flagged for manual review, we may delay fulfilment while checking whether capture occurred and whether the intended Account is entitled to receive it. We will not ask customers for passwords or payment security codes by email. Where a legitimate order is refused, a captured amount is returned or otherwise remedied as the law and applicable scheme rules require.

9. User payment responsibilities

Use a payment instrument that you are authorised to use, confirm the intended Account and review the item, quantity, currency, tax and total before purchasing. Keep order receipts and monitor your statement for unfamiliar debits. If another person has access to a device or logged-in Account, sign out when appropriate and apply available security controls. Never send money directly to another DateFoundry member in exchange for promises of gifts, meetings or upgraded access.

Customers must not deliberately exploit a checkout defect to obtain digital units without payment. However, an honest pricing question, bank dispute or lawful refund claim is not misconduct. The payment contract binds the parties according to what was clearly disclosed and lawfully accepted, not according to hidden interface settings or conjecture about a customer's intent.

Payment authority belongs to the purchaser, not to the member who might receive a gift. A gift never entitles its recipient to make further charges to the sender’s card. Members must not share payment credentials, impersonate a cardholder or seek card reimbursement outside the official payment dispute process as a condition of replying to a match.

10. Declined, failed or reversed payments

A transaction may be declined because an issuer refuses authorisation, authentication fails, funds are unavailable, a network is interrupted or the payment provider blocks a suspected high-risk instruction. A decline does not prove wrongdoing and should not automatically suspend an unrelated paid entitlement. The platform may show an error and allow a new attempt only after the customer can see whether an earlier authorisation was completed or remains pending.

If an order was already paid and benefits delivered but the issuer subsequently reverses a payment, the associated digital entitlement may be restricted pending a fair reconciliation. We assess the actual reason for reversal, relevant consumer law and whether the customer has opened a legitimate dispute. Any account action should avoid imposing an arbitrary penalty solely for invoking cardholder rights.

11. Duplicate charges and technical errors

If two charges appear, first distinguish two pending holds, one hold plus one settlement, and two settled payments. Each case has a different resolution. Contact support with the dates, amounts, currency, order references and the last four card digits if needed. We compare records to establish whether one purchase was unintentionally processed more than once or whether the customer separately authorised multiple bundles.

When a genuine merchant-side duplicate settlement occurs, we correct the transaction and reverse the unintended amount through the original route, together with any erroneous second credit. We aim to acknowledge within two Business Days and provide an initial decision within ten Business Days after sufficient information, without delaying a mandatory legal reimbursement. The bank controls the posting of expired authorisation holds.

12. Unauthorised transactions and security reporting

If you suspect a charge was not authorised, contact your issuer immediately, change compromised credentials and email info@datefoundry.com. Provide the transaction date, amount, partial card reference and relevant Account identifier; do not send the entire card number or CVV. The issuer may have a separate legal and scheme process for unauthorised-transaction reimbursement. Our investigation uses only necessary login, order and delivery evidence and does not pre-judge the outcome.

We may temporarily restrict new purchases or secure the Account during a credible compromise investigation. This is not a finding that the complainant acted dishonestly. If a fraudulent actor obtained virtual units, we may prevent further use and preserve proportionate evidence for the processor or competent authorities. A genuine customer retains the right to challenge an inaccurate fraud designation and seek applicable remedies.

13. Refunds and relationship to the Refund Policy

Not every digital purchase can be unwound merely because a customer no longer wishes to use it. The Refund Policy specifies non-delivery, defects, mistaken or unauthorised payments, statutory cancellation and discretionary outcomes. The consumer's right to a remedy for nonconforming digital content is preserved regardless of any stated ordinary no-change-of-mind position. Approved refunds generally return via the original instrument; store credits are not substituted for a required monetary payment without lawful consent.

We aim to acknowledge a refund request within two Business Days and provide a reasoned initial decision within ten Business Days of sufficient information. Where statutory cancellation applies, reimbursement is initiated without undue delay and within the mandatory deadline, including the ordinary 14-day rule when applicable. Once sent by the provider, a card credit typically posts within five to ten Business Days, subject to issuer processes.

The Refund Policy controls merchant-side assessment and refund procedures; it does not replace cardholder rights against an issuer. An approved card refund is normally sent through the original method. Refund timing is measured from initiation by the merchant or processor separately from the later appearance of a credit on a bank statement; statutory repayment deadlines govern whenever applicable.

14. Chargebacks, retrievals and disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact DateFoundry first with a disputed order so we can correct an evident delivery or double-charging problem quickly. This is optional and does not restrict a cardholder's right to seek issuer assistance, file a chargeback or use statutory remedies. A dispute submission should accurately state the charge date, amount, currency, item, problem and prior communications. Do not claim a purchase was unauthorised merely because a chosen recipient declined a gift.

When a card network asks for information, DateFoundry may provide the processor with authentic order acceptance, applicable disclosures, authentication, payment, crediting and service records relevant to the dispute. We avoid unnecessary disclosure of intimate profile messages or unrelated members' information. We reconcile a parallel refund and chargeback to prevent double reimbursement and explain where the issuer rather than DateFoundry controls the final outcome.

A chargeback is not proof of fraud by the cardholder. We review the claim type, any prior merchant remedy, the original order description, authentication evidence and transaction-to-entitlement ledger before deciding whether a representment is factually supportable. We do not seek payment or a cancellation of a valid dispute as a condition of hearing a consumer complaint.

15. Timing of delivery and account crediting

An accepted digital order is fulfilled through an entitlement entry against the customer's Account, not through postal shipment. Most completed one-time token, like or gift purchases are expected to be usable promptly, normally within 15 minutes after confirmation. Fraud review, payment-network delay or technical maintenance can temporarily prevent crediting. The Digital Product Fulfilment Policy explains what constitutes a completed delivery and how a missing or incorrect entitlement is corrected.

If credits remain absent after 24 hours, contact support with your receipt and Account email. Avoid submitting repeated payments to test the system. Where a transaction was captured without a corresponding usable entitlement, the operator must investigate, correct or reimburse according to the Refund Policy and applicable consumer law, rather than relying solely on a provider's successful-capture message.

16. Payment records and audit trail

Records normally associate an Order with the Account, the product, quoted amount and currency, authentication result where available, processor reference, capture outcome, entitlement grant and any subsequent use, dispute or refund. These are necessary to reconstruct a transaction and provide an accurate response to a bank or customer. A record of a credit is not conclusive if the content cannot in fact be accessed or was posted to the wrong Account.

Financial and tax records are kept for an appropriate period under the Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations, with access restricted to those who need them. We do not use payment records as a justification for unrelated processing of sensitive dating characteristics. Transaction exports and copies are handled in a manner consistent with security, data protection and card-network confidentiality obligations.

17. Geographic and legal restrictions

Availability of an item or payment method may differ by country because of payment-network, consumer-protection, tax, sanctions or local legality requirements. A currency selector is not a representation that all countries are supported or that every issuer can process a charge in the selected currency. DateFoundry may decline an order where law or the provider prohibits processing, and it will address any captured funds accordingly.

Users may not use a payment instrument unlawfully, route payments on behalf of a prohibited third party or obtain credits for resale. The virtual tokens do not permit payments between members and cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for cash. Where local mandatory consumer law affords stronger rights, this Policy is not interpreted to remove them.

18. Minors and payment authority

The Service is restricted to adults aged 18 or older. An underage person is not authorised to register or buy virtual gifts, and a parent's possession of a card does not cure underage eligibility. Adult users must have authority to use the payment instrument and should keep shared devices secure against unintended orders. We may request proportionate age or payment verification where there is reason to suspect misuse.

An unauthorised child-initiated or other unauthorised charge is considered under applicable law and the issuer's processes rather than subject to an automatic non-refundable label. DateFoundry does not sell virtual units as prizes for gambling, cash equivalents or peer-to-peer funds transfer. Concerns involving a child should be reported through the support channel without distributing the child's sensitive information.

19. Changes to prices, methods and rules

Prices, product offers and payment methods may change for future orders; the legally agreed price for an accepted transaction is not retrospectively altered. The final pre-payment screen controls the specific product and total at the time of agreement. A promotional price or limited bundle should identify meaningful restrictions before payment. Introducing a new renewal product requires its own explicit disclosure and agreement, not silent conversion of a prior one-time purchase.

Where a material change affects a continuing paid membership, we will provide appropriate prior information and legally required cancellation or remedy rights. We may change acquiring providers without changing consumers' underlying statutory protections. Security controls can be strengthened promptly when necessary to address fraud, but they must not be used as a pretext to retain payment for undelivered goods.

20. Service interruptions and processor downtime

During issuer, payment-network or DateFoundry downtime, the purchase page may be unavailable or show a pending status. Check the Account and any processor confirmation before retrying. A temporary outage does not justify duplicate capture, and we investigate completed payments that lack credited entitlements. Where reasonably possible, we explain widespread disruption through the website or support communications.

If a provider later sends a successful settlement notification for an order that initially appeared to fail, the platform should reconcile the final capture and either provide the paid digital right or offer the appropriate remedy. We may use reasonable rate limits during an incident to avoid fraud and accidental repeated charges, while preserving the customer's right to contact the bank.

21. Contact and complaint route

For billing questions use info@datefoundry.com. Provide the registered Account email, item, date, amount, currency and order number. For duplicate or unauthorised charges, state whether the transaction is still pending or has settled if your issuer confirms that status. We aim to acknowledge a sufficiently identified claim within two Business Days and offer an initial decision within ten Business Days of the necessary information.

If your complaint remains unresolved, reply with its reference for reconsideration or use your issuer's dispute path. We will not insist that you waive a chargeback or disclose a full card number. Formal notices may be sent to the company at its registered office above. The governing law is England and Wales, without prejudicing compulsory local consumer rights.

If a statement description is unfamiliar, the cardholder can email info@datefoundry.com with the transaction date, amount, currency and last four card digits, without disclosing the complete number. The merchant identification on a card statement is set by the acquiring configuration and must match the name and contact information disclosed in checkout records closely enough to be recognised.

22. Updates and governing law

This Policy may be revised for future orders when platform functionality, payment networks or the law changes. Revisions are published with an effective date, and earlier accepted orders retain their applicable legal and contractual protections. A policy update is not consent to a new recurring charge, an undisclosed fee or a change to a completed transaction's currency.

The laws of England and Wales govern this Policy, subject to rights that may mandatorily apply in a consumer's home jurisdiction. A dispute may be addressed through customer support, the payment provider, competent regulator or court according to the applicable rules. We do not require informal negotiation as a prerequisite to a legal remedy.

23. Practical payment lifecycle overview

A purchase begins when you choose a specified pack or separately offered membership and examine the final description and total. After you confirm a clearly labelled paid order, a payment provider may request authentication and seek approval from your issuer. If the order is successfully captured, the platform links it to an Account and credits the corresponding usable entitlement; the receipt and account record provide the evidence of completion. Pending, failed and reversed states should not be confused.

If the bank records a debit but the Service shows no credited item, contact support before making another purchase. The issue is traced through order, payment and entitlement identifiers, and a missing item is restored or otherwise remedied. If a refund is due, it follows the original payment route; the associated digital entitlement is then reconciled. A card dispute is a separate external process that does not nullify rights under consumer law.

24. Good practice for users before submitting payment

Confirm that the merchant identity shown is DateFoundry / AMORIAX LTD and compare the statement descriptor actually disclosed at checkout or on the receipt with the later card entry. Make sure the displayed amount and currency match what you wish to pay; inspect any membership period and renewal conditions. Avoid using a card belonging to another person without authority, and never send payment credentials or a transfer directly to a dating contact.

Keep an order receipt, allow a pending authorisation to settle or disappear before retrying, and check that purchased likes or tokens became usable. A gift purchases a digital interaction, not a guarantee of a reply. Report disputed payments promptly with the order facts, but do not send passwords, card verification codes or intimate photographs that are irrelevant to the transaction.
